quae Lirio Nigro, Fanagoria, reste Pinetô (eo quôd in Phanagoriâ sit, quae apud Strab. Themiscyra dicitur, una cum fluv. qui in Irim labitur) urbs Cappadociae maritima apud ostia Iridis fluv. (a quo nunc accipit nomen vulgare) in Ponti Galatici et Pelomoniaci confiniis. Aliis Temir, et Temisira dicitur apud Thermodoontem Buvium sita. Salmasio campus est Amisenae Regionis 60. ab urbe stadiis distans, quem statim ingreditur Iris postaquam cum lyco sese iunxit; ad ipsam vero utriusque amnis συμβολην` Eupatoria fuit seu Magnopolis.
